Global switchgear engineering company NOJA Power is celebrating the successful type test of the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® to the latest Arc Fault Venting standard for Pole Mount Switchgear (IEC 62271-200).

The NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® is the 3rd switchgear product from NOJA Power to achieve certification for arc fault containment and venting, alongside the OSM Recloser and GMK Ground Mount Kiosk circuit breaker.

“Our NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® product is driving safety in pole mount load break switches with not only the patented visible isolator but also arc fault containment and venting to ensure operator and general public safety.”

Using a patented visible gap, the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® is the world’s first solid dielectric Load Break Switch (LBS) with a visible isolation gap. Viewable through reinforced glass, the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® provides utility operators with a way to verify isolation through direct inspection of the current carrying conductor.
