Application Example: Solar Farm Connection
Kanowna Solar Farm in Moree, NSW Australia, was connected to the MV distribution grid with the NOJA Power GMK. This GMK allowed the asset developers to address all connection requirements with a single, factory tested product.
Application Example: Auto Changeover for Critical Supply in Victoria
This installation for Metro Rail in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia has two NOJA Power GMK's serving the rail electrification supply. A fibre-optic connected auto changeover scheme is running between the units, providing an added layer of supply reliability for critical infrastructure.

GMK-4000 Series Kiosks
Also known as the Auto-Changeover GMK, this design provides two NOJA Power OSM Reclosers within the same Ground Mount Kiosk Enclosure.
This design topology is applied in two primary cases. Firstly, the 4000 series GMK can be used to supply a critical load from two alternative sources. In the event of power quality degradation or failure from the primary source, the GMK can automatically switch supply to the alternate source, and revert upon supply restoration.
Secondly, the 4000 series GMK can be used in renewable energy connection applications providing a method for network controllers to partially shed generation assets. Solar farms connected with the GMK4000 series can be progressively shed during network instability periods, or partially disconnected for maintenance. This offers an advantage over a single point of connection, maximising asset uptime and revenue for generation unit operators.

The GMK allows for a fully specified and encapsulated switchgear arrangement to be built and tested in the clean room environment of the state of the art NOJA Power manufacturing campus in Brisbane Australia.
